From 1970 through 1979, Guy built the property to 40,000 acres with 5,000 head of cattle and imported 100 pedigree Simmentaler cattle from Bavaria, Germany via three Boeing 707 Skybarn aircraft, establishing the first pedigree Simmentaler stud in Zambia. Until prohibited during the the Zimbabwe liberation war, he owned and operated a real estate company in Salisbury (Harare City), Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) acquiring a Private Pilot’s License for his travel between cattle estates in Zambia and offices in Rhodesia. In his spare time, he wrote two fictional novels entitled, “The Smoke That Thunders,” and a children’s story, “The Little People,” for his daughters. The ever-present threatening situation of living in a host nation to a neighboring liberation war eventually prompted their departure.
Guy started over yet again and moved to the United States in August 1983, and became a consultant for Ophir International, Inc., where he developed one of the first lines of resemblance French perfumes in the United States. He formed The Quigley Corporation in 1989, filed an S-18 registration and the company became a public entity on February 7, 1991, trading on the NASDAQ under the symbol (QGLY). He successfully developed and marketed a cold remedy zinc product under the franchise name COLD-EEZE®, establishing the United States zinc-lozenge marketplace. The product remains on the shelves of most outlets in the United States. He resigned from the Company he created some twenty years earlier and retired on June 12, 2009.
Guy has found writing to be of tremendous therapeutic value and a full circle return to his birthroots. Since then he has written two additional books, “The Rebel Son,” and “Hellevator (The Master’s Son),” and is editing “Predators at the Gate,” and re-edting “The Smoke That Thunders.”
He is one of the two Executive Producers of “Magic Boys” filmed in London and Budapest. He is also an Executive Producer of the spoof “Breaking Wind,” and the of “Wicked Blood,” a film with a host of A-line stars. He also created a test web series called “In the Bag.”
In 2013, he joined forces with Futurist Ape Productions, utilizing his ThunderSmoke Media Company to collectively make the movie “Remorse,” released in the U.S. as “Apparition” and internationally as “The Nesting.”

He was born in Watford, Herts, a suburb of London, England and hales from a theatrical background where his parents, grandparents and great-grandparents were all thespians. His family moved to the United States when he was three years old.
After graduating from Central Bucks West High School in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, he enrolled at DeSales University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in TV / Film Production. From there, he ventured to California where he continued his acting education and graduated from the Stella Adler Academy of Acting & Theatre. He rounded off his acting abilities with ongoing workshops under the direction of actress Dee Wallace.
Jody is a partner in ThunderSmoke Media LLC, where he has Co-Executive Produced two movies, “Wicked Blood” and “Remorse” (released as “Apparition” in the U.S. and “The Nesting” internationally). He also acted in both productions and is primarily an actor always seeking the next part. Jody is also a talented musician and songwriter.
Frank has served as a trustee, advisor and “consigliere” to several high net worth families, as well as an executive and board member to several multi-national companies. He has run a national manufacturing and distribution company as well as helped local individuals make their American dream a reality by assisting many family businesses. Frank has multiple residential and commercial real estate investments with tenants such as Taco Bell, Dollar General and Walgreens. He has been an accountant and executive producer for several independent films and commercials working with networks and media companies such as Showtime, Viacom and VH1.
Born and raised in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Frank is a cum laude graduate of Rider University, a licensed CPA in Pennsylvania, board member of Bucks County Community College School of Business and a member of the AICPA and PICPA. He enjoys spending time traveling the U.S. with his family, coaching baseball, and restoring and collecting American muscle cars.
Mr. McCaughan earned Masters and Bachelors of Science Degrees in Management and Justice from Wilmington University. He then went on to earn his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the Widener University School of Law. He has also been a Member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, along with belonging to other charters and Professional Associations.
Mr. McCaughan enjoys playing chess, mountain biking, hiking, sky diving, scuba diving, and exploring the world seeking new opportunities and adventures.
